A night of Boston comics, featuring....

Tony V

Headliner

Tony V. has been one of Boston's most-loved and most often requested comedians for over two decades. His many notable television appearances include HBO, Comedy Central, Late Night With Conan O'Brien, A&E, MTV and Rescue Me with Denis Leary, as well as two seasons of Bobcat's Bigass Show on the F/X network. Tony recently debuted his one man show, "The Failure Artist," to critical acclaim. He can be seen currently on Showtime's The Brotherhood as well as on CBS's 2007 series Waterfront.

Jimmy Dunn

Feature performer (replacing Jim McCue)

Jimmy Dunn is a Boston favorite and national headliner. Sports fans will recognize him as the host of Fan Attic on NESN and from his regular appearances on the Boston Red Sox pregame report during the historic 2004 season. He has also appeared on Comedy Central, CMT's Hit Parade, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Inside This Old House, and in the movie "Stuck on You" with Matt Damon.

Joey Carroll

Joey Carroll's comedy has taken him around the world. He has been invited to use his sharp wit and flawless comic timing for a third tour bringing much needed laughter to our troops around the world. He has just released his latest CD from his last tour to Iraq.

Maureen Langan

Maureen Langan is one of the most fearlessly funny comics working today. Her honesty, high-energy, and ability to rant on life's absurdities make her a comedy standout. Once she takes to the stage, it's clear to see why she was named one of the "Ten Standout Stand-ups Worth Watching" by Backstage Magazine. Whether she's going after Martha Stewart, her own blessed immigrant mother, or pop culture, Langan will have you roaring with laughter.

Paula Poundstone

Paula Poundstone

July 24, 6:00 and 8:30pm

Tickets: $42 Adult, $37 Senior

Appearing on stage with a stool, a microphone, and a can of Diet Pepsi, PAULA POUNDSTONE is famous for her razor-sharp wit and spontaneity.  The Boston Globe said, "Poundstone improvises with a crowd like a Jazz musician... swinging in unexpected directions without a plan, without a net."  Paula is so quick and unassuming that audience members at her live shows often leave complaining that their cheeks hurt from laughter and debating whether the random people she talked to were "plants." Paula is also a regular contributor to NPR's "Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me!"

Count Basie Orchestra

Count Basie Orchestra

July 26, 4:00 & 8:00pm

Tickets: $42 Adult, $37 Senior

Count Basie introduced several generations of listeners to the Big Band sound and left an influential catalogue. Basie is remembered by many who worked for him as being considerate of musicians and their opinions, modest, relaxed, fun-loving, drily witty, and always enthusiastic about his music. As he summed up the key to his understated style, in his autobiography, "I think the band can really swing when it swings easy, when it can just play along like you are cutting butter." -from Wikipedia
