Fund-a-Need: Fund (verb) provide money for something / need (noun) something that is essential
"Mere words cannot explain how grateful I am for the scholarship my daughter has received for the summer program with Stoneham Theatre."
This is just one of the many comments from families who have benefited from our young company scholarships over the years. In 2009, 23 families benefited from the generosity of our Fund-a-Need donors.
This year we anticipate an even higher number of scholarship applications than usual from families who want to enroll their children in the young company programs but for financial reasons they are not able to afford the tuition.

We feel that it is our responsibility as an arts organization to make every effort to ensure that no child is excluded from young company programs simply because they cannot afford to pay.
Please contribute to the young company scholarship fund today by clicking on the donate button. You have an opportunity to invest in a unique arts training program which is such a vital part of Stoneham Theatre's artistic mission.
Over the last ten years we have made the young company into one of Boston's premier youth theatre organizations. This tremendous growth has been possible because of support from generous individuals who know how important the arts are to youth development.
Thank you for your support.
