Since December 2000, Stoneham Theatre has been the arts destination for Boston’s MetroNorth region, providing:

Our mission is to bring arts, entertainment and arts educational opportunities to the people of the MetroNorth region. We produce between six and eight productions each year, and a series of concerts in the summer. The young company, our highly acclaimed theatre in education program, runs programs throughout the year and serves over 350 students annually.

As a federally sanctioned nonprofit it is part of our mission to ensure that the arts are affordable to the greatest number of people in our communities. We achieve this by keeping our ticket prices artificially low and by offering special prices and incentives for every production.

Ticket sales and tuition cover only 63% of our operating costs.
