SUPPORT STONEHAM THEATRE
Founded in December of 2000, Stoneham Theatre has, in seven years, grown to be one of the major performing arts organizations in the Boston area. (Currently ranked 8th in the Boston Business Journals list of the area's largest performing arts organizations).
Our mission is to bring arts, entertainment and arts educational opportunities to the people of the MetroNorth region. We produce between six and eight productions each year, and a series of concerts in the summer. The young company, our highly acclaimed theatre in education program, runs programs throughout the year and caters to over 200 students annually.
As a nonprofit it is part of our mandate to ensure that the arts are affordable to the broadest number of people in our communities. We achieve this goal by keeping our ticket prices reasonable and by offering specially priced performances for every production. Thus ticket and other earned revenue covers only 63% of our operating costs.
Individuals, corporations and foundations provide the remaining funds needed to bring our audiences the quality theatre and educational programs they have come to expect at Stoneham Theatre. There are several ways that you can support Stoneham Theatre:
